Dubbing & Soundbites
Macalla is vastly experienced at dubbing and voice-over work. We had the pleasure of working with Paramount Ireland on multiple occasions, producing the Irish language versions of all three Spongebob Squarepants films. Most recently, we dubbed Spongebob Squarepants: Sponge on the Run or Spongebob: Rith, Spúinse, Rith in 2020, which became the first Irish language film released on Netflix.
We were also delighted to have the opportunity of working with Cartoon Saloon in dubbing films such as An Saothraí (The Breadwinner) and Amhrán na Mara (Song of the Sea) for theatrical release, and Wolkwalkers for AppleTV.
Our work – between cartoons, documentaries and live action – has been broadcast on TG4 since the station’s founding. Adventure Time, Spongebob Squarepants, Tae Leis na Mairbh, Breadwinners, The Muppets, Duck Dodgers, Power Rangers, Ben Ten, Angela Anaconda, Yogi Bear, Eloise, Umizoomi, Johnny Test… The list of programmes we have produced is long and impressive and we pride ourselves in producing dubbed content of the highest quality.
